December 21 Free classical piano recital in Mazarron

The Jiménez Alarcón brothers at the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón

The final concert in the 2024 Crescendo Mazarrón program takes place on Saturday December 21 at the Centro Cultural in the town and features brothers Rafael and José Jiménez Alarcón, noth of whom studied piano under the guidance of Christopher Vaughan, Pilar Beltrán Martínez, Eulàlia Solé i Olivart  and Gabriel Escudero Braquehais (the latter at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Murcia “Manuel Massotti Littel”).

The program they have chosen for this performance in Mazarrón is as follows:

Maurice Ravel: Mi madre la Oca

I. Pavana de la bella durmiente. Lent.

II. Pulgarcito. Très modéré.

III. Niñita fea, emperatriz de las pagodas. Mouvement de Marche.

IV. Conversación de la bella y la bestia. Mouvement de Valse très modéré.

V. El jardín encantado. Lent et grave.

The concert on December 21 begins at 20.00 and admission is free of charge.
