Mallorca shooting: Woman, 79, dead and partner, 82, seriously injured in possible murder-suicide attempt
The incident is thought to be a case of domestic violence on the Spanish island

A woman has died this Wednesday March 19 in Puigpunyent (Mallorca) as a result of a gunshot wound, while her husband has been seriously injured.
The Judicial Police of the Guardia Civil are investigating the causes of the incident, which occurred early in the morning and could be a case of domestic violence.
According to the information provided by the SAMU ambulance service, a report was received of two people injured by firearms. The ambulance crew was only able to certify the death of a 79-year-old woman.
An 82-year-old man has been treated for a gunshot wound. He has been stabilised and transferred in a serious condition to Son Espases hospital.
Police suspect the man shot his wife dead and then turned the weapon on himself in an attempt to commit suicide.
