Murcia weekend weather forecast May 22-25
This Thursday and Friday bring rain to the Region, but the weekend itself will be a gloriously sunny one

Murcia weather warnings, Friday May 23
For this weekend in the Region of Murcia, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts a lovely, sunny Saturday and Sunday, but the agency has issued yellow weather alerts for the chance of rain and storms in the north of the Region on Thursday and Friday.
The first half of Thursday May 22 is forecast to be nice and sunny, just like it has been all week, with high, summer-like temperatures. But by around midday it will begin to get more overcast and showers will begin in the west of the Region – around Lorca – and in the northern half.
By the evening, even the Campo de Cartagena can expect heavy rainclouds, and the far northeastern area around Jumilla and Yecla is on yellow alert from 7pm for the risk of thunderstorms and accumulated rainfall of up to 15mm per hour.

Murcia weather forecast, Thursday May 22
The weather alert continues to be active until 8am the next day, Friday May 23, and is extended to the northwest, around Caravaca and Mula. On Friday, the entire Region of Murcia is forecast to receive heavy rain up until around 6pm, when it will all stop suddenly.
As a result of the rain, daytime temperatures on Friday will be as much as 5 degrees lower than they have been for the rest of the week, a change that will leave a noticeable chill in comparison. However, minimum temperatures at night will be unaffected, and will stay around the same.

Murcia weather forecast, Friday May 23
Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 are once again forecast to be dry, sunny days with some high cloud cover in the sky and temperatures rising once again, up into the high-20s at the height of the day.
These calm, sunny and warm weather conditions are forecast to continue into the start of next week, so that the brief spell of rain this Friday is just a temporary blip in what is otherwise clearly the start of the summer shorts-and-sunscreen season.

Murcia weather forecast, Sunday May 25
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Murcia this weekend
- Thursday May 22: Min 14ºC; Max 28ºC
- Friday May 23: Min 10ºC; Max 23ºC
- Saturday May 24: Min 9ºC; Max 28ºC
- Sunday May 25: Min 10ºC; Max 30ºC
