There are two main post offices (“Correos”) in the centre of Lorca, one located at the northern end of Avenida Juan Carlos I close to the River Guadalentín, and the other at Calle Musso Valiente nº 1, at the crossroads with Calle Lope Gisbert.
Calle Musso Valiente nº 1
This post office is right in the heart of the historic city centre, next to Plaza Concha Sandoval, the Palacio de los Guevara and the Centro de Artesanía, or crafts exhibition centre (see map below).
The opening hours are from 8.30 to 14.30 on weekdays and 9.30 to 13.00 on Saturdays.
Avenida Juan Carlos I
The Juan Carlos I office is open from 8.30 to 20.30 on weekdays and between 9.30 and 13.00 on Saturdays.
As well as being the obvious locations from which to send letters/parcels, Post Offices in Spain also act as ticketing agencies, selling tickets for many major events.
There are also plenty of yellow post boxes around in which letters can be posted. Stamps can also be purchased in tobacconists and shops specialising in the sale of stationery.
