Suggestions for things to do, Pilar de la Horadada
Discover the beaches, walks, and places to visit in Pilar de la Horadada and Torre de la Horadada
To visit:
A morning out:
Start at the tourist office and pick up a map. From there, it’s a 5 minute walk up to the Casa de la Cultura to the archaeological museum. Walk back down the same way and visit the Iglesia del Pilar, the main church, before stopping in the Plaza de la Iglesia for a coffee. ( If you enjoy historical sightseeing you may enjoy reading the history of Pilar de la Horadada first)
From here, head down to the beaches and Torre de la Horadada, see the tower on the coastland and go for a walk along the beachfront, concluding with lunch in one of the many restaurants.
Campoverde the Río seco
Walk the 4km along the dry river bed of the Rio Seco, enjoying the curious rock formations carved out by the passage of water and the cool air of the surrounding pine forests. Have lunch afterwards in one of the restaurants in Pinar de Campoverde.
Other suggestions:
- Play a round of golf at the Lo Romero Golf Course
- Enjoy the Friday morning street market in Pilar de la Horadada with over 100 stalls.
