Heavy rain and storms to start the week: Murcia weather forecast Oct 13-16
Most of the Region of Murcia can expect at least some rain until later in the week
Weather outlook on Monday, midday
Still not fully recovered from the devastation caused by DANA Alice, the Region of Murcia will once again experience a day of storms and rain this Monday October 13, although much less intense than the rainfall seen in recent days. However, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a yellow storm warning for the Northeast of Murcia on Monday, between the hours of 1pm and 8pm.
According to Aemet, the skies will dawn overcast this Monday; a cloudy outlook that will bring showers that may be accompanied by thunderstorms, especially in the eastern half of the Region and in the Mar Menor area early in the morning. Later, the storm will move northward, but rain is possible throughout the day.
Furthermore, this Monday will be marked by winds blowing from the northeast, bringing strong gusts to the coast, although these should die down by the afternoon.
Afternoon temperatures on Monday
Temperatures will continue to be mild, reaching 25ºC in much of the Region of Murcia, while minimum temperatures will be around 16ºC in the central municipalities and even lower in the Northwest.
The clouds will leave the Region of Murcia late on Monday, leaving skies virtually clear skies throughout Tuesday October 14. However, it will become overcast again in the final hours of the day and rain is not ruled out in the mountains, although it will be light.

This situation will continue throughout the week, with cloudy skies and occasional showers returning on Wednesday October 15. Temperatures will hold stead in the low- to mid-20s.

As we push towards the weekend, cloudy skies and occasional afternoon showers remain the order of the day on Thursday October 16, particularly in the mountains. Daytime temperatures are due to take a dip, ranging between highs of 21ºC and 24ºC.
