Santa Rosalia Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Santa Rosalia Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Where is it happening?

How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?

July 12 The Blue Horses and Suzette Moncrief in a free concert in La Manga within the 2026 San Javier Jazz Festival
A joyous Spanish-Cuban band with the brilliant New York singer Suzette Moncrief at the Puerto Tomás Maestre in La Manga!
The second free concert in this year’s International Jazz Festival of San Javier takes place on Sunday 12th July at the Puerto Tomás Maestre in La Manga del Mar Menor and features The Blue Horses with Suzette Moncrief.
The Blue Horses is an engaging jazz band led by Cuban tenor saxophonist and flautist Inoidel González and Spanish tenor and soprano saxophonist Pablo García. Fusing classic elements of the genre with contemporary and dynamic touches, they create an immersive atmosphere of joy at every concert, where the sextet's excellent synergy provides an ideal framework for the inspired improvisations of each soloist.
As a special guest on this occasion they present the artistry of the great jazz and soul singer Suzette Moncrief, born in New York and currently based in Andalusia, which promises a high-level concert that will be a delight for fans.
