Santa Rosalia Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Santa Rosalia Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

May 17 Free guided cycling tour of open-air urban art in Los Alcazares
The cycle tours in Los Alcázares offer a mixture of history and urban art
On May 17, to commemorate International Museums Day, the first of two guided tours consists of a gentle cycling route to see some of the urban art in Los Alcázares continues, including some of the town’s most attractive locations. There are more than 200 murals in this impressive open-air collection, some by internationally renowned artists.
The route starts at the tourist information office at 18:00.
Along the ride those taking part will be able to learn something of the history of the municipality of Los Alcázares as well as view the more modern pieces of urban art.
Commentary is in Spanish and the route is aimed at a family audience, the aim being to enjoy the scenery by bicycle rather than breaking any cycling speed or endurance records!
All ages are welcome: just bring your own bike. If you haven´t got one and would like to borrow one, contact the tourist office after booking and bicycles can be provided free of charge.
The tour takes approximately two hours (with frequent stops), so it is advisable to carry water and wear a protective hat, suncream and sunglasses.
