What's on in Águilas July 2025
The peak summer tourist season begins and Águilas welcomes visitors with a host of events and activities on the shore of the Med
The summer is officially here at last, and with it begins the busiest time of the year in Águilas (and other beachside resorts throughout Spain), with the possible exception of the Carnival festivities in February and March.
This may be holiday season for most people, but for the Aguileños there is no rest over the next couple of months as visitors flock to the fantastic beaches and the town offers them accommodation, delicious food and a busy social and cultural life to make their stay in south-western Murcia a truly memorable one. Some of the regular activities and events which fill the diary for the autumn, winter and spring may have wound down their 2024-25 season, but they are more than made up for by the plethora of concerts, parties, fiestas and sporting engagements which are taking place in July and August!

The first phase of the project to restore the jetty was completed shortly beforehand and much of its former glory (and structural stability) has been recovered.
As a result non-guided visits are now permitted, and throughout this month they take place between 11.00 and 13.00.
This timetable is susceptible to modification according to demand. Registration for these free visits is currently through the Águilas tourist office (telephone 968 493285) only but it is hoped that an online facility is soon to be added.
