The Casino of Águilas plays host to the ongoing season of jazz evenings in the town
The Jazz Amigos de la Cultura society is holding another of its hugely popular jazz events on Saturday 20th June at the Casino of Águilas, where the audience will be entertained by Noa Levy and The Paul Edis Trío.
Noa Levy has been described by JAZZIT Magazine as “a unique vocalist, at the same time classic & contemporary,” exciting audiences with her style, expressiveness and humour. The NYC Jazz Record reports that she brings the music to life with her “expertly rendered selections”, inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Eva Cassidy and Carmen McCrae.
She won the Sheila Jordan Award in 2020 for her voice & bass album, “You, Me & Cole” and has performed in some of San Francisco’s most prestigious venues, while her following keeps growing with a busy calendar in the US, UK and Europe.

Throughout the year it also has a number of museums and historical attractions, a castle with fabulous views overlooking the bay and several other points of interest, all of which make it an good place to visit for days out. Throughout the year the tourist office runs monthly guided tours and the route of the railways, which explores the railway history of the town.
The tourist information office is located in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos, just a short walk from the sea front and Plaza de España, a cool, shaded space in which to enjoy a coffee.
